Diercks on top at CJ Speedway
For the second time in as many starts, Spencer Diercks is an IMCA Modified winner, this time at CJ Speedway in Columbus Junction, Iowa, on Friday, May 8. Diercks, hailing from Davenport, Iowa, was perfect in his entire evening effort at the CJ dirt oval, winning his respective heat race from fourth before climbing from seventh in the main event.
As noted, it was Diercks second consecutive IMCA triumph, his third win in four starts dating back to his conquering of Independence Motor Speedway on April 28; he was victorious at Maquoketa Speedway on May 2.
Unfortunately, his winning streak came to an end at Independence on Saturday, May 9; he was scored 13th.
