Runner-up finish in Davenport Dirt Stars opener
Spencer Diercks returned to familiar territory over the weekend as Davenport Speedway hosted a doubleheader.
He opened the weekend with a podium run, steering to a consistent second-place finish in Friday's Davenport Dirt Stars.
However, Saturday’s $3,000-to-win Greg Durbin Memorial ended early, as Diercks retired from the feature on the fourth circuit.
