Diercks attends Knoxville Nationals

Spencer Diercks invaded Knoxville Raceway (Knoxville, Iowa) on Thursday afternoon to kick off the 17th annual Knoxville Nationals presented by Brandt. In a stout field of 48 Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries, Spencer clocked in 10th fastest in his group before placing seventh in his heat. For another round of preliminary features on Friday, Diercks’ early exit in his heat race relegated him into the consolation event. Locking the Top 3 into the show, Spencer logged a 10th-place outing.

With preliminary results from Thursday and Friday placing Spencer on the fourth row in his B-Main for one final shot at the $50,000-to-win Knoxville Nationals, Diercks passed three cars but came one spot shy of a transferring with a fourth-place finish.
